California Hits Eastman Hard
John Eastman, the former dean of Chapman Law School and a lawyer tied to President Trump’s 2020 election effort, has now been officially disbarred in California. The state Supreme Court backed the decision after a long fight with the state bar, which said Eastman committed serious ethical violations. According to the bar, he pushed false claims about the 2020 election to influence courts, public officials, and the public. In plain English, California decided the punishment should be career-ending, which is no shock coming from a state that loves using the legal system like a political sledgehammer.
A Long Fight Over His License
The case did not happen overnight. Eastman was first disbarred in April 2024 after a judge ruled he should lose his license for his role in challenging the election results. He later asked a California judge to pause that ruling, pointing to massive legal fees, but the effort did not stop the process. The state bar said Eastman faced 10 disciplinary charges, and the Supreme Court later affirmed the punishment two years after the challenge began. Whatever one thinks about the 2020 mess, California made it clear that defending disputed elections can come with a very steep price when the political winds are blowing the wrong way.
FBI Raid And Georgia Charges
Eastman also drew major federal attention after the January 6 Committee pushed action against him. In June 2022, FBI agents stopped him outside a restaurant in New Mexico, where he was with his wife and a friend, and reportedly forced him to unlock his phone before taking his iPhone 12 Pro. He was also indicted by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis on several counts tied to the Georgia election case. Supporters see this as another example of lawfare aimed at people who challenged the 2020 results, while critics say he crossed the line. Either way, the message from the left is obvious: question the election and prepare for a legal beatdown.

As time and availability of hidden records emerge, it looks more and more like the 2020 election was actually stolen. Too many strange occurrences to all be coincidences. Democrat claims to the contrary, several states have already discovered illegal activities and coverup efforts.
