Boston’s Mayor Michelle Wu strutted up to the podium this week and proudly announced that “Boston will not back down.” Translation? Protecting illegal immigrants—even the ones raping kids—is apparently a higher priority than cooperating with ICE. Forget public safety, Wu’s making sure her city gets a gold star in progressive virtue-signaling.
Blame Trump, Ignore the Crimes
When cornered on her sanctuary stance, Wu did what Democrats do best—she blamed Trump. She ranted about groceries, housing, even cancer cures—because nothing says “law and order” like dragging Epstein’s name into an immigration debate. Meanwhile, ICE just arrested Haitian, Guatemalan, and Salvadoran nationals in Boston for crimes ranging from child rape to aggravated assault. Wu still insists Boston is the “safest major city in America.” If that’s safe, God help us all.
The Progressive War on Federal Law
Wu isn’t just poking Trump; she’s part of the larger left-wing rebellion against immigration enforcement. Sanctuary policies treat federal law as optional, all while dumping the cost and danger on actual citizens. ICE officials have been crystal clear: detainers save lives. They prevent repeat offenses. But Wu? She’d rather play resistance hero, putting ideology over the safety of the very people she’s supposed to represent.
Boston’s “Safest City” Fantasy
Wu bragged that Boston is “the safest major city in the country.” Tell that to the families of the kids abused by predators ICE had to arrest after local officials let them roam free. But hey, as long as Wu can stick it to Trump, what’s a few child victims here and there, right?
Progressive Politics Over People
This is the real face of sanctuary city politics. It’s not about compassion, it’s about defiance. It’s about mayors like Michelle Wu putting on a show for MSNBC while ICE officers clean up the mess. And the rest of us? We’re left shaking our heads as Democrats once again prove they’d rather protect criminals than protect children.

I remember well in the 1960 Presidential Campaign it was two Irish Catholics who introduced Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to America. If elected they were going to fix the 1957 Civil Rights Act and end Segregation in the South Forever. Yes because Massachusetts was Kennedy Country. Everybody loved the Kennedys. Just another reason why I say today Look how far We’ve fallen as a Country in only 61 years. However We now have a real President who like Kennedy was looking out for We The People the way it was always supposed to be. So when you look at Wu and hear her words I say like you too How un American is she and those around her who applaud. Just so you know no Political family has endured more pain, agony ,and Hardship then the Kennedys of Massachusetts Where our Country really began. Looks like Wu needs another “Tea Party in the Harbor!!”
