WATCH: NPR CEO Crumbles Under GOP Grilling- Tweets Come Back To Haunt Her!

In a stunning display of conservative resolve, freshman Congressman Brandon Gill (R-TX) eviscerated NPR CEO Katherine Maher during a fiery House Oversight hearing, exposing her radical past, blatant hypocrisy, and the left’s relentless weaponization of taxpayer-funded media. The hearing, chaired by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), laid bare the rot within NPR and PBS—two institutions that have abandoned impartial journalism in favor of pushing far-left propaganda under the guise of “public broadcasting.”

Gill, a rising star in the GOP, didn’t hold back as he confronted Maher with her own inflammatory tweets, forcing her to squirm under the weight of her extremist rhetoric. When asked if she believed America is “addicted to white supremacy,” Maher dodged, claiming her “thinking has evolved.” But Gill wasn’t having it—he methodically dismantled her evasions, exposing her long history of anti-American vitriol.

Brandon Gill: “Do you believe that America believes in black plunder and white democracy?”
Katherine Maher: “I don’t believe that, sir.”
Gill: “You tweeted that in reference to a book you were reading—The Case for Reparations.”
Maher: “I don’t think I’ve ever read that book, sir.”
Gill: “You tweeted about it. You said you took a day off to fully read The Case for Reparations.”

The exchange grew even more damning when Gill confronted Maher about her past support for reparations, where she explicitly tweeted, “Yes, the North. Yes, all of us. Yes, America. Yes, our original collective sin and unpaid debt. Yes, reparations.” When pressed, Maher weakly claimed she wasn’t referring to financial reparations—an absurd deflection that only underscored her dishonesty.

Gill then turned to NPR’s promotion of looting, citing Maher’s tweet dismissing property destruction during BLM riots as “hard to be mad about protests not prioritizing the private property of a system of oppression.” When asked if looting was morally wrong, Maher reluctantly agreed—but only after calling it “counterproductive,” a telling choice of words that reveals the left’s true priorities.

This hearing was a microcosm of the broader conservative fight against the liberal media machine—a machine that President Donald J. Trump has spent years battling. Under Trump’s leadership, the GOP has made it clear: taxpayer dollars should never fund leftist indoctrination. While the mainstream media scrambles to protect their own, Republicans like Gill are holding them accountable, proving once again why Trump’s America First agenda is vital to dismantling the elite’s grip on our institutions.

  • Defund both NPR and PBS. Liberal cesspools. Keep Big Bird though. The Liberals have ruined those networks, but cleverly kept a few good programs to be able to point to something that wasn’t propaganda. A decent sponsor would probably fund those few good programs.
