UNBELIEVABLE: Oregon’s Supreme Court Unjustly BLOCKS 10 GOP Heroes from Seeking Reelection!

It’s crystal clear what’s happening here. The liberal stronghold of Oregon has once again shown its true colors by using the law to silence conservative voices. The Oregon Supreme Court, in a blatant act of partisan politics, has ruled that ten Republican lawmakers cannot seek reelection due to their participation in a walkout last year over policy disagreements.

The ruling is based on Measure 113, an Oregon rule that disqualifies anyone from seeking reelection if they have ten or more unexcused absences. This measure is nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt by the left to systematically remove Republicans from office.

Do you remember when they used similar tactics against Trump? Now watch as other states follow suit, creating new rules with the sole aim of eliminating Republicans from the ballot.

Oregon Supreme Court stops 10 GOP lawmakers from running for re-election, siding with Democrat’s ballot ban

In an outrageous decision last Thursday, the Oregon Supreme Court ruled that 10 Republican state senators who took part in a record-long boycott last summer to block bills extending access to abortion for minors and transgender procedures, among others, cannot seek re-election this year.

The Oregon Senate Republican Caucus rightfully criticized the “Democrat-stacked supreme court sides with Democrats and union cronies on Measure 113 despite plain language of Constitution.” They emphasized that this decision effectively ends the service of ten Republican senators who represent one-third of the Oregon Senate.

This ruling supports Democratic Oregon Secretary of State LaVonne Griffin-Valade’s announcement last August to disqualify these ten lawmakers under a measure designed to prevent such boycotts. Measure 113, passed by voters in 2022, amended the state constitution to bar lawmakers from re-election if they have more than ten unexcused absences.

Last year’s boycott lasted six weeks — the longest in state history — and stalled hundreds of bills. Five lawmakers sued over the secretary of state’s decision: Sens. Tim Knopp, Daniel Bonham, Suzanne Weber, Dennis Linthicum and Lynn Findley. They were among the ten GOP senators who had more than ten absences.

Here’s a video report detailing this disgraceful act:

Make no mistake about it – the left will try to replicate this tactic in other states. We must remain vigilant and fight against this injustice.
