During last night’s interview with President Trump, Tucker Carlson noted that Trump’s enemies have tried everything to take him down and it hasn’t worked, so perhaps the only option left to them is to assassinate him.
“Your poll numbers go up,” Carlson told Trump, adding “When they raided Mar a Lago in August of last year, your numbers went up. They can indict you 20 times, and you’re not going to lose the Republican primary because of that.”
Trump responded “Well, it makes it look even more ridiculous. I mean, the four indictments and maybe there’ll be more, I don’t know. These people are crazy.”
Carlson then noted “But they’re counterproductive. So if you chart it out, it’s an escalation is what I’m saying,” before asking “So what’s next? After trying to put you in prison for the rest of your life? That’s not working. So don’t they have to kill you now?”
Watch:
Carlson followed up, noting “It started with protests against you…and then it moved to impeachment twice, and now indictment. I mean, the next stage is violence. Are you worried that they’re gonna try and kill you? Why wouldn’t they try to kill you?”
“They are savage animals. They are people that are sick, really sick,” Trump responded, adding “I’ve seen the lengths that they go to.”
Elsewhere during the interview, Carlson asked Trump for his thoughts on what really happened to Jeffrey Epstein, with the host being adamant that he was murdered.
