Survey Reveals Biden’s Main Argument Against Trump Spectacularly Backfires!

Well, well, well! Isn’t this a surprise? A Washington Post poll has just revealed that the majority of voters see former President Donald Trump as the stronger defender of democracy, beating our current President Joe Biden by a whopping 11 points!

The left has been constantly harping about how Trump is supposedly a threat to democracy. But it seems like the people don’t agree with their narrative, do they?

This bombshell comes from a survey conducted earlier in 2024 and it’s still being brought up now and then. The poll questioned voters on who they thought would best defend our democracy. Naturally, you’d think, “Of course, it’s our present President, Joe Biden.” But hold your horses, folks. The truth is far from it.

Prepare to have your minds blown – Trump is the favored one here! Yes, you heard that right. Despite Biden winning the 2020 elections in all six states where the poll was conducted – Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin – the majority still favor Trump. This survey involved over 3,000 registered voters and was carried out during April and May with a margin of error of approximately 2.9 percentage points.

The late Rush Limbaugh had an interesting take on polls. He believed that they were merely tools to create news. And what better way for the Washington Post to stir things up than to release a poll indicating that swing state voters consider Trump a danger to democracy just before a debate? But guess what? Their plan backfired!

Here are some figures from Breitbart:

“Which candidate do you think would do a better job handling each of the following? Threats to democracy in the U.S.,” the Post and the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University poll asked respondents:

Trump: 44 percent
Biden: 33 percent
Neither: 16 percent
Both: 7 percent

The poll sampled 3,515 registered voters in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin from April to May with a ± 2.9 percentage point margin of error.

Biden’s primary argument for reelection has been his defense of democracy. But it appears that this poll has shaken that claim to its core. This is particularly worrying for him considering Trump faced multiple legal issues and even a conviction by a Manhattan jury in May.

There’s more! According to consistent polling data, voters are more worried about other issues such as inflation, immigration, and crime. And guess who they think can handle these better? Yes, Trump again!
