The lax border policies of California have drawn the ire of Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb, particularly due to a growing wave of Chinese migrants entering the country. He believes these rules, coupled with free amenities promised by the state, are luring more people to the country, and this poses a huge problem.
Sheriff Lamb made it clear that the nature of immigrants from China differs significantly from those originating from Central America. Migrants from a Communist nation like China can’t freely move in or out of their country, which implies a possibility of the Chinese government facilitating such mass migrations to the States.
“It doesn’t help the rest of us when they do silly things like that when they offer free sex changes, free health care, free housing;. All that does is entice people to come here, and we don’t need that,” Lamb said.
“What I keep telling people, when you hear these numbers about Chinese nationals, it’s not like America — people can’t just come and go as they please out of a Communist country. The Chinese government has to be complicit in this,” Lamb said.
This significant rise in immigrants, 20,000 in the last four months to be exact, is alarming, especially considering the majority are military-age males.
A conversion of a hotel into migrant accommodation in New York has stirred controversy. Taxpayer money is reportedly being used to fund their stays. Sheriff Lamb is disturbed by the situation, stressing that this is misuse of taxpayer funds. “I don’t know when Americans are going to wake up that those are our tax dollars paying for those rooms,” Lamb lambasted.
