Once again, the streets of London were stained with tragedy as John Hunt, a renowned horse racing radio commentator for BBC, suffered the devastating loss of his wife and two grown daughters in a horrific attack. The perpetrator of this heinous act was none other than Kyle Clifford, a former lover of one of Hunt’s late daughters, who reportedly used a crossbow in the assault.
This vile act of violence sent shockwaves through the city, driving local law enforcement into an extensive manhunt that lasted until the early hours of Wednesday morning. Jon Simpson, the policing commander for Hertfordshire Constabulary, confirmed the relentless search for the culprit.
Clifford, a 26-year-old ex-military man, was eventually cornered by armed officers in Enfield, north London on Wednesday. Despite being injured upon capture, no shots were fired by the police during his apprehension. He is now receiving medical treatment while under custody. This information was reported by BBC News, further proving that even the mainstream media cannot ignore this atrocious event.
The gruesome incident unfolded in Bushey, near Watford, where three women tragically lost their lives to a crossbow attack. The victims were identified as Carol Hunt, aged 61, Hannah Hunt, aged 28, and Louise Hunt, aged 25. They were the beloved family of John Hunt. The women were found gravely injured at their residence on Ashlyn Close around 7:00p.m. Tuesday and unfortunately did not survive their injuries.
Clifford, who briefly served in the Armed Forces prior to this targeted incident, was a trooper in the Queen’s Dragoon Guards, a rank equivalent to a private. A photograph of him in his military gear has been widely circulated. A former employer from his early career revealed that Clifford left the forces shortly after completing his basic training.
He told The Sun, “Clifford joined the Army in 2019 and I was with him in Basic Training… He struggled to grasp basic military concepts but managed to reach the standard to pass out from training.”
A friend of Louise spoke highly of her during an interview with BBC News, describing her as a positive person and expressing shock at her untimely demise.

The neighborhood was put on high alert as police helicopters patrolled the area and uniformed officers stood guard at a local terraced house. One local mother recounted her alarming encounter with armed police upon returning from school drop-off.
She told The DailyMail, “They had cordoned off the road and were ushering people away from the house they were going into… They let me through to get home and they remained there for about an hour before they left.”
