Home Depot Co-Founder Exposes Biden’s Inflation Lies – Find Out Why Liars Lie!

Ken Langone, the co-founder of Home Depot and a well-respected Republican donor, has lambasted President Joe Biden for his outrageous comments on the economy. He directly labels Biden as a liar for his repeated false assertions.

Biden has been making claims recently that he inherited high inflation rates from his predecessor and that his administration is responsible for a decrease in these rates. These assertions have been met with strong criticism from Langone and others who accuse the mainstream media of giving Biden an undeserved “pass” while ignoring the undeniable facts.

Langone expressed his frustration on “The Ingraham Angle” on Tuesday, reacting to Biden’s unfounded claims about inflation which were even fact-checked by CNN.

In an interview with CNN last week, Biden made this audacious claim: “No president’s had the run we’ve had in terms of creating jobs and bringing down inflation. It was 9 percent when I came to office, 9 percent.”

The president made similar statements in a Tuesday interview with Yahoo Finance: “I think inflation has gone slightly up. It was at 9 percent when I came in, and it’s now down around 3 percent.”

Langone responded to these falsehoods by asking Fox News host Laura Ingraham: “Why do liars lie? Because they lie. That’s why you call them a liar.”

He further stated: “That’s the most absurd remark in the world to say that inflation was 9% when he came in,” adding, “It was… 1.4%.”

Langone emphasized his disbelief: “How can you believe them? The numbers speak for themselves,” and pointed out other baseless claims made by Biden.

The media’s biased approach towards Biden was also highlighted by Langone: “And the irony of it is, the American people, because of the media, he’s being given a pass,” he noted.

According to a U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics report from January 2021 – when Biden was inaugurated – the consumer price index (CPI) had increased only 1.4% year-over-year.

Even CNN refuted Biden’s claims:

Biden’s assertion that inflation rate was at 9% when he took office is far from reality. The actual figure in January 2021 was about 1.4%. Under Biden’s administration, inflation did peak at about 9.1%, but this happened in June 2022 – more than a year into his presidency.

In response to these facts, a White House official attempted to clarify Biden’s comments stating that factors causing inflation were already present when he took office due to disruptions caused by the pandemic.
