Once again, the true colors of the Democrat Party were on full display at the RNC Convention in Milwaukee. As if it wasn’t enough that Kevin McCarthy was shamefully ousted as House Speaker last October, GOP Congressman Matt Gaetz had to remind him of his disgraceful exit.
An image capturing this confrontation can be seen here:
Gaetz, in a display of audacious courage, confronted McCarthy asking, “What night are you speaking? Are you speaking tonight?” The cowardly McCarthy chose to ignore Gaetz, who then taunted him one more time by saying, “If you took that stage you would be booed off of it. You’d get booed off the stage!”
True to his nature, McCarthy refused to engage, proving once again that he lacks the spine to stand up to the strong Republicans like Matt Gaetz.

The feud between McCarthy and Gaetz is not new. McCarthy’s ousting last year came after a 216-210 vote following Gaetz’s Motion to Vacate the Chair. This made McCarthy the “shortest serving speaker since 1876” and according to The Guardian, also “the first speaker of the House forced out of the job in US history.”
McCarthy, in his typical fashion, played victim and told reporters about a heated exchange with Gaetz during a closed-door meeting with Republicans. He claimed that he told Gaetz to sit down and that the entire conference screamed at him. But all we see is a man who couldn’t handle the truth being spoken by a brave Republican.
