DC Mayor Blocked Trump’s Attempt to Halt Capitol Chaos!

Recently, it has been revealed that the House January 6th Committee may have intentionally concealed testimony from the former White House Deputy Chief of Staff. This testimony contradicts their narrative about President Donald Trump’s involvement in the Capitol riot.

The suppressed testimony specifically disclosed that President Trump had proposed deploying 10,000 National Guard troops to secure the Capitol. However, this offer was declined by D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser who only approved a meager 350 troops.

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Anthony Ornato recalled, “[Trump] was on the phone with [Mayor Bowser] and wanted to make sure she had everything that she needed.”

Ornato further stated, “I remember the number 10,000 coming up, you know, ‘The president wants to make sure that you have enough.’ You know, ‘He is willing to ask for 10,000.’”

Despite this offer from President Trump, Ornato remembers being told by his superior to call in a quick reaction force instead. He recalled, “I remember the chief telling Miller, ‘Get them in here, get them in here to secure the Capitol now.’”

The Committee chose to withhold this testimony under the guise of protecting privacy. However, this move has raised eyebrows as it directly undermines their conclusion that Trump intended to join the rioters.

Rep. Bennie G. Thompson defended the decision to withhold the interview, stating it was done “in order to protect sensitive information, as well as the privacy of witnesses.” He further added that all witness testimonies were considered in their final report.

However, Thompson’s claim that “Donald Trump wanted to join his violent mob as it marched on the Capitol” seems inconsistent with Ornato’s testimony.

A Republican congressman has argued that this suppressed testimony validates Trump’s long-standing claim of offering troops. Rep. Barry Loudermilk stated, “The former J6 Select Committee apparently withheld Mr. Ornato’s critical witness testimony from the American people because it contradicted their pre-determined narrative.”

Loudermilk further emphasized that Ornato’s testimony corroborates what Mr. Meadows has been asserting all along – President Trump did indeed offer 10,000 National Guard troops to secure the U.S. Capitol.

Critics have accused the Committee of not conducting a genuine investigation but rather orchestrating a partisan witch hunt aimed at defaming President Trump.

The concealed testimony suggests that contrary to Democrat allegations, President Trump attempted to prevent chaos rather than incite an insurrection.
