CNN Data Guru Shocks Anchor with Unexpected Poll Results: ‘Unbelievable!’

Recent polls paint a bleak picture for Joe Biden ahead of the 2024 presidential election, showing him trailing behind Donald Trump in crucial swing states that he managed to clinch in 2020. The tide appears to be turning against Biden, with Trump gaining ground among foreign-born voters and outperforming him on issues such as border security and immigration.

“No matter how you phrase it, you will see that more voters today trust former President Trump over President Biden, but the margins can change depending on how it is,” said CNN’s senior data reporter Harry Enten. “So this is a better job on border security and immigration, which tends to be one of former President Trump’s best questions.”

Enton further emphasized the shift in public sentiment by saying, “My goodness gracious. Look at this huge jump that Donald Trump has gotten. He is now ahead on this issue by 27 percentage points. So it’s not just that immigration is more at the top of voters’ minds than it was four years ago. It’s that who they trust on the issue has changed tremendously.”

Despite recent legal troubles and being convicted of felonies, Trump continues to enjoy robust approval ratings with 55% considering his presidency successful. This stands in stark contrast to Biden’s dismal performance with a staggering 61% labeling his presidency a failure thus far.

The partisan divide is also glaringly apparent as 92% of Republicans endorse Trump compared to a mere 73% of Democrats supporting Biden. It seems Biden’s overall job handling has failed to impress, garnering broad disapproval at 60%, with even traditionally Democratic issues like healthcare failing to boost his approval ratings.

The lowest blow comes from his handling of the Israel-Gaza conflict where he scored a paltry 28%. Despite his legal woes, these polls suggest that Trump is poised in a far stronger position for the 2024 presidential race.
