Chinese Intruders Busted by Agents on Maine-Canada Border!

In a striking display of vigilance, U.S. Border Patrol agents in Maine apprehended a group of Chinese nationals attempting to infiltrate the United States from Canada under the cover of night. This incident underscores the escalating issue of illegal border crossings, a problem that has been largely ignored by Democrat leadership.

Alongside these individuals, a New York-based driver, suspected of aiding in their illicit transport and smuggling, was also detained.

The Houlton Sector of the U.S. Border Patrol reported, “After noticing suspicious activity along the border, vigilant Fort Fairfield Border Patrol agents arrested three Chinese nationals attempting to use the cover of darkness to enter the United States illegally.”

The statement further revealed, “A driver from New York, also a Chinese national who is already in immigration proceedings, was also arrested and suspected of attempting to further the illegal entry.”

This incident is not an isolated one but part of an alarming trend. Illegal border crossings at our northern frontier have surged dramatically in recent years. In 2023 alone, over 12,200 migrants were apprehended crossing from Canada—a staggering 241% increase from the previous year—highlighting the failure of Democrat policies to secure our borders.

While most crossings still occur at legal ports of entry, the number of Chinese nationals attempting to enter the U.S. via the northern border has seen a sharp rise in recent fiscal years, with over 24,000 encounters in 2023 alone.

It’s worth noting that Chinese nationals crossing into Maine from Canada is considered rare compared to crossings along the U.S.-Mexico border. This highlights an evolving threat landscape that requires robust and decisive action—something Republicans have consistently championed while Democrats continue to turn a blind eye.
