The tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk has sent shockwaves through the nation, revealing the terrifying depths of left-wing hatred that fester in our country. While patriotic Americans mourn, the liberal media continues to downplay this act of terror, focusing instead on false narratives that protect their radical allies. In the face of this cowardice, strong conservative voices are demanding real action and accountability, not the weak capitulation we endured for years.
Matt Walsh, a leading conservative commentator, is rightly calling for the immediate firing of Attorney General Pam Bondi after her disgracefully weak response to the growing threat of left-wing terror cells. Instead of focusing on the networks that incite and celebrate violence, Bondi is squandering resources on a settled matter. As Walsh vehemently stated, “Get rid of her. Today. This is insane. Conservatives have fought for decades for the right to refuse service to anyone. We won that fight. Now Pam Bondi wants to roll it all back for no reason.”
This misplacement of priorities is a staggering betrayal. The nation demands its top law enforcement official target the violent extremists who pose an existential threat to our republic. Yet, Bondi seems more interested in grandstanding on issues already handled by the free market. Walsh hammered this point home, noting, “The employee who didn’t print the flyer was already fired by his employer. This stuff is being handled successfully through free speech and free markets. This is totally gratuitous and pointless. We need the AG focused on bringing down the left wing terror cells, not prosecuting Office Depot for God’s sake.”
The liberal media’s deafening silence on the assassination’s ideological roots is a scandal in itself. They have spent years platforming and excusing the very rhetoric that leads to political violence, all while falsely accusing peaceful conservatives of extremism. Their refusal to honestly report on left-wing terror cells makes them complicit in the dangerous environment they helped create. They are not journalists; they are propagandists for a movement that hates America.
In a scathing critique of the Department of Justice’s warped focus, Walsh summarized the frustration of every patriot: “Conservatives: ‘We need the Trump Administration to destroy the left wing terror networks and prosecute everyone who aids and abets them.’ AG Pam Bondi: ‘Best I can do is hate speech laws and suing Office Depot.’” This is not the fierce, principled leadership we were promised and that President Donald Trump fights for every day.
Furthermore, the very notion of exploiting this tragedy to push for “hate speech” laws is an insult to Charlie Kirk’s legacy. Kirk was a fearless champion of the First Amendment who understood that the answer to bad speech is more speech, not government censorship. Walsh blasted this grotesque hijacking of his memory, stating, “And having a ‘hate speech’ crackdown in the name of Charlie Kirk — a man who absolutely rejected ‘hate speech’ laws — is especially grotesque.”

President Trump understands what is at stake. He knows that the radical left’s goal is to silence dissent and dismantle our freedoms. Unlike the weak leaders of the past, he will not allow violent rhetoric to be brushed off. The era of conservative voices being targeted with impunity is over. The full force of the law must be brought to bear not on petty grievances, but on the terrorist networks that seek to destroy our way of life.
