Joe Biden’s campaign is spiraling out of control, a fact that is becoming increasingly clear following his disastrous late-June debate performance. This shocking turn of events has resulted in one of the most sensational news cycles we’ve witnessed in recent times. While political surprises are not uncommon, the rapid deterioration of Biden’s campaign stands out as a significant anomaly.
Frankly, this shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone who has been paying attention to his track record: botching the withdrawal from Afghanistan, casually dismissing inflation as ‘transitory’, wreaking havoc on the economy, the Gaza pier debacle, skyrocketing food prices, and the exorbitant cost of dining out.
The mainstream media conveniently overlooked all these failures until they were forced to acknowledge them. Once the cat was out of the bag, however, their scrutiny of Biden intensified.
The situation escalated even further following the Clooney op-ed. MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’ host, Joe Scarborough, revealed that Biden’s campaign suspects former President Barack Obama of covertly undermining Biden. Scarborough underscored the gravity of this allegation by stating: ‘What’s going on behind the scenes is the Biden campaign and many Democratic officials do believe that Barack Obama is quietly working behind the scenes to orchestrate this.’

A mere few weeks ago, it would have seemed absurd to suggest that Obama might be plotting to push Biden out of the race. But now, observing his behavior on stage with Biden, it seems glaringly obvious.
The prospects for Biden’s recovery seem increasingly bleak. His team’s social media efforts are backfiring spectacularly – every post they make is met with a barrage of negative comments.
But they face even greater challenges. NBC News reported that insiders from the campaign disclosed that fundraising efforts are ‘already disastrous’ and that ‘The money has absolutely shut off.’
In response to these claims, Biden’s spokesperson Lauren Hitt asserted, ‘That’s not accurate, on grassroots fundraising, the first seven days of July were the best start to the month on the campaign — and many of those were first-time donors. On the high-dollar side, we’ve had folks max out since the debate, as well.’
When they resort to attacking Obama, you know things are dire. And it’s a spectacle to behold.
