President Joe Biden was quick to criticize Vance in response to Trump’s announcement. Biden-Harris 2024 Chair Jen O’Malley Dillon was quick to condemn Trump’s selection, alleging that Vance would further Trump’s “extreme MAGA agenda,” even if it required breaking the law.
