Biden Cowardly Dodges Trump’s Daring Showdown!

Despite all his bravado and grandstanding, it seems President Joe Biden is not up to the challenge after all. After initially accepting a high-stakes golf match against former President Donald Trump, with a $1 million charity donation at stake, Biden’s campaign has now declined the offer. What happened to the enthusiasm he showed during their heated debate just a fortnight ago?

Trump didn’t just throw down the gauntlet; he sweetened the deal by offering an 18-hole match at Doral’s Blue Monster and even giving Biden a 20-stroke advantage. If Biden won, Trump would donate $1 million to a charity of Biden’s choice. This was not just about golf; it was also an invitation for a second debate.

But it seems the Biden campaign lacked the courage to take on Trump in a debate again. After all, polls following the first debate showed Trump as the clear winner, with almost 80% of voters feeling that Biden was too old to run for office again. Despite initially agreeing to the golf match during the debate, Biden’s campaign has now backed out.

Biden had previously been all talk about a golf showdown, even bragging about his handicap and suggesting that Trump carry his own bag. He reiterated this offer during an event with comedian Stephen Colbert, proving that it had been on his mind since 2021.

The Biden campaign’s response to Trump was filled with accusations and deflections. They claimed that Trump had been hiding for 12 days, an allegation that Trump’s team quickly refuted. They argued that Trump had stepped back to highlight the chaos within the Democratic Party, quipping, “Why get in the way of them shooting at each other?”

The Biden camp’s statement was riddled with potshots at Trump, accusing him of misleading job creation claims and falsely suggesting he didn’t stand up to Russia. They even criticized Project 2025, despite Trump’s opposition to it.

In an attempt to save face, the Biden campaign brushed off Trump’s challenges, insisting that Biden is focused on leading the country. Yet, Biden admitted to needing more rest and cutting back on evening events to catch up on sleep. His schedule mostly consists of events from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., including a daily nap – hardly the schedule of a robust leader.
