Joy Reid, known for her radical leftist views, recently broke down in a teary and emotional farewell as she spoke out for the first time since the announcement that her MSNBC show, The ReidOut, would come to an abrupt end. According to The Gateway Pundit, Reid’s show had its final airing this week, marking her departure from the network. The program is set to be replaced by a new show featuring a trio of anchors: Symone Sanders Townsend, a political commentator and former Democratic strategist; Michael Steele, a former chairman of the Republican National Committee; and television journalist Alicia Menendez.
Following the unexpected leak of the show’s cancellation, MSNBC’s new president, Rebecca Kutler, organized an impromptu virtual meeting with Reid’s team, as reported by Cassandra MacDonald. In a video shared on Monday, Reid struggled to contain her emotions, bursting into tears while addressing the show’s end. Attempting to regain her composure, she soon veered into self-congratulation.
“My show had value,” Reid declared before tears overwhelmed her. “I’m sorry…What I was doing had value.” She then began listing the numerous far-left causes her show championed while still wrestling with her emotions.
“What I will just say is that in the end,” she continued, pausing as an assistant handed her a tissue, “Is where I land is the moment of guilt that I felt that I went hard on so many issues, whether it was the Black Lives Matter images of a young baby or a mom or dad that was killed.”
This was followed by Reid applauding herself for her advocacy for Asian Americans facing discrimination, her defense of illegal aliens, and her criticism of President Trump. Reid later referenced the controversial 1619 Project, describing it as “the real founding of this country.”
Moving on, she expressed controversial opinions about the Israel-Hamas conflict, where her sympathies appeared aligned with those attributed to the adversaries of the Jewish State. “The American people have a right to object to little babies being bombed,” she remarked. “I’m not sorry that I stood up for those things because those things are of God, and I’m a church girl.” In her closing statements, Reid asserted, “So, I’m not sorry. I’m just proud of my show.”

For those observing the unraveling of yet another left-leaning media narrative, Reid’s emotional outburst seemed like an exercise in liberal arrogance, attempting to frame partisan activism as noble truth-telling. This narrative, clearly out of sync with mainstream American values, finds little sympathy among supporters of President Trump, who remain hopeful as the narrative turns to media that champions genuine American principles.
h/t: Steadfast and Loyal
But Little Miss “Church Girl,” while being so concerned about Hamas babies being bombed, was all in for little American Babies being mutilated, scalded to death, skulls crushed, throats slit, limbs torn from their little bodies in the name of abortion or “family planning.”
I get pissed every time a lefty is so concerned about other children when they don’t give a damn about American children dying of drugs, abortion, etc…
Better to just be cancelled than hung from a lamp post as I would do to all Commie scum working in the worthless American mainstream news media!
