The audacity of the liberal left in their assault on Christian values is once again on full display. The fallout from the opening ceremony continues to make waves as six Christians were arrested by Parisian police for protesting a blasphemous parody of the Last Supper.
These brave individuals, associated with CitizenGo, a group committed to defending life, family, and liberty, were using their freedom of speech to voice their discontent. Their message? “STOP ATTACKS ON CHRISTIANS!” It was emblazoned on the side of a bus that they used to drive around Paris.
NEW: 6 Christians arrested for driving a bus around in Paris that read ‘Stop Attacks On Christians’ on the side.
According to @CitizenGO, 6 of their team members were forced to spend the night in jail for denouncing the Olympics opening ceremony.

The reason for this vehement protest was a disgraceful sketch at the opening ceremony. A mockery of the Last Supper was performed by drag queens, an overweight lesbian, and a transgender TV celebrity. This outrageous act was carried out in front of a child, causing rightful outrage among Christian groups.
CitizenGo took to social media to express their indignation, stating, “Six of our team members were forced to spend the night in jail for simply denouncing the mockery of Christians.” Their peaceful protest was met with unjust force.
Shockingly, three women from the group were subjected to a strip search under the pretense of looking for drugs. They were then thrown into jail without food or water. According to CitizenGo, their lawyer confirmed that their use of the bus was completely legal. Despite this, it seems that the prosecutor manipulated the law to suppress their free speech.
CitizenGo argues that this incident is a blatant example of anti-Christian political and ideological persecution. After the arrests, the bus was escorted out of the city by the police.
Despite the controversy, the French Bishops’ Conference responded by criticizing the parody but emphasized focusing on the Olympics’ main purpose: showcasing human sporting prowess. However, the opening ceremony’s controversy continues to overshadow the true spirit of the games.
Thomas Casemore, writing for the Catholic Herald, pointed out that the organizers’ justifications only made things worse. They claimed that their mockery was a tribute to the Greek god Dionysus – a claim that didn’t sit well with many Christians.
A week after the criticism erupted, the Vatican issued a statement expressing sadness over certain scenes at the opening ceremony and joined those who were offended. The statement underscored that an event of global significance should avoid making ridiculous allusions to religion.
The July 26 ceremony caused a furor as it featured DJ and producer Barbara Butch, an LGBTQ+ icon, wearing a silver headdress resembling a halo, surrounded by scantily dressed drag artists and dancers. This blatant mockery of Christianity was denied by the ceremony’s artistic director, Thomas Jolly, who claimed it was meant to celebrate diversity and French gastronomy.
Final Thoughts
The liberal left continues to trample on Christian values under the guise of promoting diversity. It’s high time we stand up against this blatant disrespect and fight for our religious freedom. Remember, my fellow conservatives, our voice matters and we must not let it be silenced!
