It’s absolutely laughable how the Biden campaign is scrambling to save face after actor George Clooney, a recent supporter and fundraiser, penned an op-ed in the New York Times urging Joe Biden to step down from the race. In a desperate move, they’re now claiming that Biden possesses more stamina than Clooney!
Yes, you read that right. The same Biden who can’t seem to string together coherent sentences without stumbling is now being touted as having superior endurance because he outlasted Clooney at a fundraising event. It’s clear that they’ll grasp at any straw to keep their sinking ship afloat.
Jake Tapper of CNN couldn’t help but chuckle at this absurd claim on air, responding with a sarcastic ‘OK.’ Even he couldn’t believe the lengths Democrats will go to defend their failing candidate.
According to The Wrap, a campaign official who attended the Los Angeles fundraiser stated that Clooney left three hours before Biden did. This was apparently their justification for claiming Biden’s superior stamina – because he stayed longer at a party!
When questioned about this, the official responded, “The point of that is to suggest that Biden’s stamina is better than Clooney’s and Clooney didn’t have eyes on the entire event. That’s the response to the Clooney op-ed.”
Tapper’s response? A simple, unamused ‘Ok.’
