As the Republican party continues to evolve, Lara Trump, daughter-in-law of former President Donald Trump, is emerging as a strong contender for a leadership role within the Republican National Committee (RNC). She firmly believes that GOP voters would support the use of RNC funds to cover the ex-president’s escalating legal fees, interpreting them as politically driven assaults.
Donald Trump himself is championing Lara’s potential appointment, indicating a possible shift in RNC leadership. This move could significantly reshape the committee and further solidify Trump’s influence within the party.
“That’s why people are furious right now. And they see the attacks against him. They feel like it’s an attack not just on Donald Trump but on this country,” she said. “So yeah I think that is a big interest to people, absolutely.”
Lara has been vocal about her unwavering loyalty to her father-in-law and his key causes, which include securing another presidential term and addressing concerns over voter fraud.
“Having someone like me in there I think will go a long way for people. I can assure you that my loyalty is to my father-in-law and I will make sure that every penny is used properly,” she said. “It should be going to fight for Nov. 5 for the causes that we care about.”
“The RNC will be supporting the whoever the Republican nominee for president is,” Lara said. “I think we all know that’s going to be Donald Trump.”
