Judicial Watch, a conservative, non-partisan educational foundation, recently released records that reveal Barack Obama’s presence at the emergency scene following the tragic drowning of his family’s personal chef, Tafari Campbell.
The records obtained from the Massachusetts State Police indicate that Obama arrived via motorcade.
On July 23rd, Campbell was paddle boarding on Great Edgartown Pond with an unnamed female staffer when he lost his balance and fell off his board without a life jacket or being tethered to it.
He began splashing and yelling for help before quickly disappearing into the water.
The woman tried to swim out to him but was unable to reach him in time; she managed to make it back to shore and alert someone who then called 911.
The call log shows a blank next to their reason for calling – an inconsistency as all other calls made that night had their reasons clearly mentioned – and states its origin as Wilson’s Landing, approximately two miles away from the Obamas’ residence on Turkeyland Cove.
This is in contrast with Massachusetts State Police records which state that the first call originated from the residence itself.
Barack and Michelle Obama had previously stated that they were not present on the premises when their personal chef, Tafari, drowned under mysterious circumstances while they were on Martha’s Vineyard.
However, it has been recently revealed that they were in fact at the residence at the time of the incident.
According to the 40 pages of records obtained by Judicial Watch through the Massachusetts Public Records Law, Barack Obama arrived at the emergency scene at approximately 8:40 PM on September 12, 2023.
Upon his arrival, he was briefed on the situation and ongoing search and rescue efforts.
The female witness, who was visibly emotional and wet, also arrived at the scene and was interviewed in Obama’s residence with him present.
The documents reveal that the Massachusetts State Police concluded there was “no foul play” in Campbell’s “accidental” death. Additionally, they state that the Office of Chief Medical Examiner determined drowning as the cause of death with an accidental manner.
It is noted that neither Campbell nor his companion had consumed any alcohol or drugs prior to this incident.
It is revealed that Secret Service surveillance footage from 6:54 PM shows Campbell and his companion entering the water as well as their immediate emergency response following Campbell’s drowning. However, a summary of these observations has not been disclosed yet.
