Russian Government Mandates Chemical Castration for Sex Offenders Under Putin’s Regime

Russian President Vladimir Putin is taking a hard stance against pedophiles in the country, pledging to sign a new law that would impose chemical castration and execution for those found guilty of heinous forms of child abuse.

This is an effort by the Liberal Democratic Party to stop the rising number of cases involving sexual violence against children.

The most recent attack occurred last month when two girls aged 10 and 12 were raped by a soldier returning home after fighting in Ukraine.

The proposed legislation would require convicted pedophiles to undergo chemical injections before they are released at the end of their sentences.

These injections would be used to reduce male libido and deter them from committing future crimes against children.

Boris Chernyshov, a Russian MP, has advocated for the “forced administration of substances that reduce sexual attraction for a long time or permanently” as an effort to curb these crimes from happening again.

Countries like Kazakhstan have already implemented similar policies that involve forced castration on convicted child sex offenders, such as Berik Zholdasov who was sentenced after raping his own 8-year-old stepdaughter.

Additionally, authoritarian Belarus has also put laws into place regarding this issue.

A nurse working in one Kazakh prison expressed her support for these measures, claiming it is the only way to effectively stop these criminals from reoffending in the future.

It must be noted however that while some can attest to its effectiveness, many fear it could cause physical harm due to its intrusive nature which has been echoed by those who have undergone chemical castration.

Kazakhstan recently amended its system so that now chemical castrations take place prior to release instead of during imprisonment as was previously done which may ultimately prove more effective than post-release punishments since it takes away any chance they had left at avoiding further action upon release.

Despite what other countries have done in terms of punishing pedophiles with chemical castrations, many argue that this still isn’t enough and harsher penalties should be imposed upon those found guilty rather than just reducing male libido levels through injections alone.

In fact, some even suggest life imprisonment or death penalty depending on severity.
