Recent reports have alleged that the Fox News Corporation has been secretly supporting activist groups which are seen to be detrimental to the interests and values of its core conservative audience.
This news has caused widespread outrage among Fox viewers who feel betrayed by their favorite news outlet.
Screenshots and testimonies from two current employees, as well as a former producer, appear to confirm these allegations.
According to these sources, Fox News has set up an internal portal app known as “Fox Giving” which allows employees to donate money to various charitable organizations with the company matching donations up to $1,000.
Among the listed groups are The Satanic Temple, The Trevor Project, Planned Parenthood and its branches, and the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).
These groups have been criticized for promoting ideologies which conflict with those of Fox’s conservative audience.
For example, The Satanic Temple is an atheistic organization known for its evil and unconventional activism, The Trevor Project is an LGBTQ+ advocacy group pushing gender ideology, Planned Parenthood is a pro-abortion organization providing cross-sex hormone therapy and SPLC often criticizes right-wing groups.
Rikki Ratliff-Fellman from Blaze Media personally witnessed one source accessing their company portal at Myfox.okta.com in order to validate the “Fox Giving” app’s existence.
One current employee turned whistleblower commented: “Fox pretends to care about Christians, but some of the stuff they push internally suggests otherwise. Glory holes, trans surgeries for kids, and potential donations to Satan are a huge slap in the face to every Christian at the company, and we resent it.”
This sentiment was echoed by another ex-producer who said that this situation “shows complete disregard and hatred for Fox’s core audience”.
They added: “It became clear certain things weren’t going to be tolerated on air any more after Tucker [Carlson] was gone…Once I realized we couldn’t say certain things on air any more I started digging into the reality of the corporate views.”
Questions remain unanswered about why Fox News would choose such controversial causes when it could potentially alienate many of its loyal viewers.
