Aleexandra Khefren an 18 year old Romanian teenager has made good on her aspiration to sell her virginity to the highest bidder despite her family’s threat that they would disown her if she followed up on the gambit.
In a statement announced through her agency, the aspiring model from Bucharest said she had agreed to sell her virginity to a Hong Kong businessman for £2million (two million pounds).
The ‘deal’ is to be consummated in a hotel (which Khefren has already booked) with the girl’s agent, Cinderella Escorts, a site based in Germany taking 20% of the bill for having brokered the transaction.
‘I wanted to sell my virginity with Cinderella Escorts rather than giving it to a future friend who might have left me anyway,’ she told The Star. ‘And I think many other girls have the same attitude.
‘How many would possibly forgo their first time in retrospect if they could have 2.3 million euros (£2m) instead?’
Khefren said that the businessman is ‘very friendly’ and that though she’s spoken to him, when she meets him in person for the first time, she will be accompanied by Cinderella Escorts staff.
The pair are slated to meet in Germany.
While many have soured off on the idea of selling one’s virginity and the calls that it only serves to demean one’s femininity, many young women in hope of a head start in life not afforded to them have stepped forward also offering their virginity on the open market.
Cinderella Escorts said that more than 300 virgins have contacted the site since Khefren went public with her decision to sell her virginity.
Told Cinderella Escorts: ‘Over 300 Virgins [have] sent us requests for selling their virginity on our website.
‘Girls from Australia, Europe, Africa, North and South America, from Arabic countries and from Asia.
‘The wish of selling somebody’s virginity is no exception.’
Explained the 18 year old model who initially told of contemplating of studying law at Oxford University: ‘I wanted to sell my virginity with Cinderella Escorts rather than giving it to a future friend who might have left me anyway.
‘And I think many other girls have the same attitude.
‘How many would possibly forgo their first time in retrospect if they could have £2million instead?’
At the time of Khefren’s initial ‘I am selling my virginity’ announcement on ITV’s ‘This Morning’, the show’s hosts and viewers were left reeling.
Asked about finding a repoire with a would be suitor, Aleexandra at the time responded she ‘has no worries’ about completing the transaction no matter what her ‘suitor‘ looked like.
Explained Aleexandra: ‘I am thinking it is strictly business not emotional. I think it will be alright, I think a glass of wine will be enough to get through.’
The show in turn led to commentators on Facebook questioning both Aleexandra Khefren’s moral and intellectual fiber.
Reflected one commentator, Sally Rowe: ‘What sort of message does it send to all those beautiful innocent young girls out there that have been taught to respect themselves and their bodies!’
While Donna Greenhalgh said: ‘This is just the same as prostitution.. Why would you want to sleep with a complete stranger for money???’
Reflected a twitter user: ‘What a naive young girl. My heart goes out to her. I hope the counsellor or someone can dissuade her’.
Nevertheless not all were necessarily condemning of the teen’s decision to sell her body in a bid to get ahead in life.
Told Sarah Convery: ‘No one has the right to judge anyone else’s decisions. If she is old enough to have a say in the government of the country she is old enough to make her own decisions about her body.
‘Not knowing the life this girl has had makes it impossible to say anything – I would have a lot more to say to the men who would bid. Everyone makes mistakes and hopefully learns from them.’
