The public deserves to know what Newsom said, what role he held, who supervised him, and whether his views affected any official work. That is not partisan gossip. That is basic accountability. The Pentagon handles national defense, massive budgets, and life-or-death decisions. When someone in that system is reportedly caught on hidden camera attacking President Trump and then placed on leave, the response should not be a quiet paperwork shuffle.
