A GiveSendGo campaign for 25-year-old Dasha Kilpatrick, a Texas medical massage therapist and holistic practitioner, has climbed past $86,000 in just two days and is now pushing toward $100,000. Kilpatrick worked at Massage Forest/Inner Light Holistic Healing in the Conroe area before she was fired after a grocery store confrontation went viral and sparked accusations of racism. In the footage, Kilpatrick says Islam is a terrorist organization, says America is a Christian country and not a Muslim one, tells the women they are not welcome here, and refers to Muhammad as a warlord and pedophile while rejecting the idea that Muslim immigrants belong here based on paperwork. The video does not show how the incident began or what sparked the argument, which is a reminder that viral clips usually arrive with missing chapters. Still, the confrontation spread fast on social media, where supporters said she was speaking uncomfortable truths and critics called it Islamophobic harassment.

Social media fallout and a familiar fundraiser pattern
The fallout was immediate. Kilpatrick was doxxed, received threats, and lost her job after the video circulated. The campaign, titled “Stand with brave Texas healthcare worker,” was organized by Tom Hennessey, who has built a track record of launching successful GiveSendGo drives for people facing online cancel campaigns. He celebrated the early pace of this one after it cleared its 50,000-dollar goal in about nine hours, then pushed onward toward six figures. Hennessey has also raised large sums in other high-profile cases, including campaigns for Shiloh Hendrix in Minnesota and Crystal Wilsey in Wisconsin, both of which drew heavy attention and strong donor support.
