Despite the media’s desperate attempts to paint President Joe Biden in a favorable light, his first presidential debate performance was a complete disaster, attracting widespread criticism. His wife, First Lady Jill Biden’s actions during the post-debate rally didn’t help either.
After the debate ended, Jill Biden joined her husband on stage at the after-party, which was attended by a live audience. Her attempt to put a positive spin on Biden’s disastrous performance was laughable at best. She praised him for answering all the questions and knowing all the facts, but anyone who watched the debate knows this wasn’t true.
“Joe, you did such a great job! You answered every question. You knew all the facts!” she exclaimed to a smiling Joe Biden on stage. She then turned to the audience and asked, “And let me ask the crowd. What did Trump do?” Before anyone could respond, she shouted, “Lie!”

This ill-judged moment quickly spread across social media platforms, with many mocking Jill for her condescending tone.
The president’s performance during the debate was universally panned by commentators. His incoherent speech and unstable demeanor shattered any illusions that Biden was competent – something that the media has been trying to convince us of despite numerous videos showing him looking like a fool.
CNN commentator Van Jones, who was emotionally moved when Biden won the 2020 presidential election, also offered an emotional plea for the president to reconsider his re-election bid. “I love that guy as a good man. He loves his country. He’s doing the best that he can. But he had a test to meet tonight, to restore confidence of the country and of the base, and he failed to do that,” Jones said. “And I think there’s a lot of people who are going to want to see him consider taking a different course now.”
Despite all this, Biden’s campaign is digging in its heels, refusing to acknowledge the disaster that was his debate performance.

But why would they change course? With Trump’s sentencing scheduled for July, they’re probably hoping that Biden’s disastrous performance will increase the chances of the former President getting jail time.
